Club Marina, Skopea Marina, Mucev Marinas, Marinturk Göcek Village Port, Marinturk Göcek Exclusive, and D-Marin Gocek are all located in Göcek. The town has islands and coves in a big and peaceful bay. Its location naturally lends itself to yacht tourism. Göcek was designated a Special Protection Area in 1988. Thus, only two-story hotels, motels, apartment hotels, and pensions are permitted in the town centre and its environs.
